Like a rock floating in a maze
love, like an illusion, wafts.
A purifying, eddying, swirling blaze,
when like time and tide the churning ends,
the webbed feet of the bird grasp the tablet.
The inscription reads,
"Call it what you may,
be it love, be it a watery reflection;
love is what it is: a faith, a prayer;
a prayer for all that is beautiful, true and good."

- Dear, +Sushama Karnik, I would like to thank you for your exquisite, thoughts profound, somehow different:
honoring the poetry of another famous poetess like you, Maya Angelou, we have to celebrate today:
"(...)In the flush of love's light
we dare be brave
And suddenly we see
that love costs all we are
and will ever be.
Yet it is only love
which sets us free."
Warm wishes,REPLY 41w - An affirmation has to be there in the midst of all contradictions, and dichotomies of love. My best wishes to you, dear Gabriela!
